Her last day was May 21st. She was sad to leave her friends behind, but was so ready for summer to start. The last week of school was a blast for the kids. They just played games and read books and had parties. The previous couple of weeks had been a little tough with all of the testing and end of year stuff. She'd been nervous about the tests, but passed with flying colors. 1st grade really was an awesome year. She had a greatt teacher this year who really understood the kids. And she was always telling me how amazing my little girl was, so yeah, best teacher ever. Strawberry loved her dearly.
It's amazing to see the changes she has made since starting. She has become an excellent reader and a math whiz. She knows all kinds of facts about science and history. She's much more interested in athletics than she used to be. She's really grown a lot this year and it's exciting to see her developing into herself. This parenting stuff is really rewarding. :)

They are chacos! Luke was so excited when Strawberry got old enough to get a pair of her own. We love them too.
