Strawberry had her first gymnastics show this Saturday. She started gymnastics in September with absolutely no training or skill and so it was really fun to see how far she has come since then. She really loves it so hopefully we will be able to keep her in it for a while. She is battling her mother's lack-of-coordination genes, but she works hard and has been able to learn things that don't come naturally to her. She practiced very hard for the show and did really well. She did a floor exercise, balance beam, vault, and uneven bars. And at the end, she got her very first trophy. Yay! (Sorry about the picture quality--the lighting was bad and there were tons of people there so I wasn't able to get close enough for the flash to be very effective).
