Thank You, Honey

Luke had to stay home from our little vacation to Arizona since he's been really busy at work. But he decided that having everyone out of the house would give him the perfect opportunity to get some painting done. I had only managed to get the living room and two bedrooms done in the last 8 months we've been here. So he spent every waking moment he wasn't at work tackling the walls and holy smoke, he got a lot done. I'm soooo grateful. Painting is miserable. He really wanted to get it done before we got home and ended up staying up all night to finish it up before he had to come get us at the airport (we took an overnight flight--so much nicer to fly when the girls are all asleep!). I have an amazing husband, no question. It was so great to walk in and see that it was all done. Of course, it was so great to just to see him. A week apart seems like nothing compared to what we've done before, but I still love seeing my honey, no matter how short the absence has been. Mango was especially happy to see her daddy. She is still too little to understand trips and how long they last and had been asking about him pretty constantly. She was talking about him a lot on the way home, about how something was broken and so daddy would fix it. :) Love it.

It looks great Luke! I thought it was cute that you stayed up the last night so you could have it all done when they got there. Can't wait to see it when we get there.
